2008 - Year of Sabbath

It's 2008. A Year of Sabbath. A blink of the eye and a whole year is gone.

Key Verse of 2008: Isaiah 58:13-14
"If you keep your feet from breaking the Sabbath
and from doing as you please on my holy day,
if you call the Sabbath a delight
and the LORD's holy day honorable,
and if you honor it by not going your own way
and not doing as you please or speaking idle words,

then you will find your joy in the LORD,
and I will cause you to ride on the heights of the land
and to feast on the inheritance of your father Jacob."
The mouth of the LORD has spoken.

And also, we have started on our corporate QT, where the whole church will read 1 chapter of Psalm each day. Our cell has posted up our daily revelations on our new blog site.

So on the 5th, we went to East Coast Park to do solitude together. Our little timeout once per month to meet-up with the Lord. And I finally had the time and motivation to shoot some photos.

Come, follow me...
Silhouette of the trees on the sea
Man in deep thought (That's Zach)
Psalm 5 - Prayer for Protection from the wicked
ECP shoreline - would you like a summer holiday?
The following shots were inspired from this other person's live journal that I don't know.
Thinking back, I think it was quite suicidal to use my Fujifilm F31fd camera, without the waterproof casing to shoot the following shots.

I call them, "Tsunami in Singapore" or "Tides Rising" or maybe "When the Oceans Rise"

And where does all that water go? Vivocity of course.
Flowers from outside my house.
Same place as the previous shot.
Ok, now that i finished blogging, it's back to work on this Thursday Morning. Yawn...
