Batam Retreat 7 - 9 Dec 07

Dennis and Dellia's G12 Retreat this year is held at Harris Resort, Batam. I took 300+ photos throughout the whole retreat, filled the whole 1gb xD memory card, haha... I had to pick out about 89 photos and editing them, scale them down from 70+ mb to 11+ mb.

The beds just swallows us.TV has many channels including HBO, Star Movies, MTV, ESPN, Singapore Channels, etc..A sofa in the room seems to make the room feel more comfortable.The view from our room is very nice. Sea view...Looks better when the sun comes out. There were many interesting shops and things, but nothing much to buy though. Lots of counterfeit things though.

88th Street, what the...Polo King... King of Polo. Maybe a sign from God, that Pastor Khong will be victorious, haha...Child sized power ranger balloons. There's also the black spiderman too.Godiva Coffee. But there isn't any chocolates there though.BFC, Best Fried Chicken. Best indeed.Gior. Think it's cheaper as there are less letters to make.Polo. Seems convincing, but ain't it Polo Ralph?Anker Beer. Cheap Beer though.Heineken is 6,975 Rupiah. About SGD 1.00. Beer here is cheaper than Singapore mineral water.A&W is a must have whenever we go overseas. Curly Fries, Root Beer Float, Ice Cream Waffles... Heavenly...A&W Root Beer Float is only S$1 +The poster model looks like Chi Wern.Snacks that we bought there in our room. Well supplied emergency rations.The next day, we went to play some water games at the pool and outside. Also, we went for wargames.

The bus was super humid on the first day when we took it to the shopping center. Had to endure the damp feeling for a whole hour.
